We found a home at the St. Pierre
My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel St. Pierre and we both agree it is a wonderful place to stay in New Orleans. 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and a quick 5 block walk to Cafe Dumond. I brought coffee and bignets each morning and enjoyed the quiet of early morning in the French Quarter.
The staff was extremely helpful as they were attentive to any and all needs we had. I simply cannot say anything bad about them. They were awesome.
This was our honeymoon and we did a lot of the tourist activities as well as sampling as much of the local resturants as one can do in 6 days.
If you are looking for a "classy" and hoity-toity place where you can get lobster at 4 am, good luck.
If you are looking for a good place to use as home base while you discover the finest qualities of the french quarter, you can find no better place than the Hotel St. Pierre. Be advised that the brick cobblestone walkways don't lend themselves to a luggage cart but I found that appreciative tipping goes a very long way and in my opinion the staff deserves it.
We will be back again and again. We found a home at the St. Pierre. I hope this was helpful
