Was not happy with this motel.

I know the whole "you get what you pay for". But this was NOT worth whatever savings I could have even saved. I had made plans four months ahead and we had been given a quote and confirmed that quote over the telephone. When we got there they changed the quote on us saying they hadn't added the tax in. They told me it was 8% tax but it varied where we were from. We argued that it doesn't matter where we were from you pay a tax depending on where the hotel is. Then the manager agreed with us and told the guy to process us. When I got up to the room something didn't look right and I realized it was not 8% we were charged but 10%. I went back down and complained and they said the rate is 10%. We gave up. We weren't going to argue on our trip. The second day we stayed there our door keys didn't work and we had to go back to down to the lobby cause we were locked out. The rooms were average. And the shower wasn't that clean. They only provided 2 towels for our room when we had 3 people staying there. Then one day my friend got sick and he stayed in bed while my other friend and I went out. The cleaning room service stopped by. They didn't even bother to re-make our bed. So we came back to a messy bed that they didn't even bother to make. Overall, we did not like the service of the hotel nor their attitude towards us. We stayed in Sedona 8 and it was better pricing and the best service I ever had in my life. The Motel 6 in Flagstaff was horrible. Would never recommend. The only thing that was positive was that it was really close to things across the street (grocery store and restaurants).
