A delightful oasis

Once we found it, which is a challenge as no taxi driver other than those in Trastevere can get to it even if they know where it is meant to be, we were delighted. The setting in an old convent is delightful and insulates one from the rest of the bustle outside.The rooms are spacious, well furnished and equipped and quiet. The breakfast is excellent and in the evening there is a charming bar with appetisers. Staff are uniformly helpful and delightful . Nearby restaurants are plentiful and some of them excellent value.
