I have stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte a few times and it is the only place I would stay in Santiago. The beauty of the hotel is that it is located in the charming district of Providencia which provides a more authentic Chilean experience. The hotel is modern with excellent amenities such as a restaurant, small pool, lounge, minibars, laundry service, and computers with internet access. The bilingual staff is gracious and profesional. This hotel is definitely the best value I have seen in South America and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the generic corporate hotels.
