Reservation Not Honored
In September I requested availability of a 2-bedroom family cabin and was told it was available for the Thanksgiving holiday. I replied that I wanted to reserve that room and attached the required reservation request with my credit information. I then received an email confirmation that my request had been honored for the dates requested. A week before the holiday I was reviewing my confirmation and noticed that I had been given a single room with a queen size bed. I called immediately to make sure that I was indeed getting a 2-bedroom cabin and was told there were none available and the manager was unwilling to make appropriate changes, even though he acknowledged that the error was due to his employee mistake. Of course, there is nothing else available anywhere in the area at this time.
