Never Ever Again!!

Where do I start? I arrived in PI because of a family emerg. Arrived at the motel approx. 6 pm after driving for 7 hrs. Waited for 20 mins for the desk clerk to even notice i was there. Got my rm, when i entered the rm all you can smell is stale, dirty odors. the comforter was stained with only God knows what! The pillows reaked of mildew smell. A friend had to use the fold out couch to sleep, well 3 hrs later when the "employee" finally brought the blanket, pillow and sheetset. Sooo, moving on to the bathrm, oh my god!!! itwas like a closet. and the ceiling fan made a loud screetching sound the WHOLE time you were in there. The shower had mold all the way across the ceiling tiles. I was awake all night long with the fear of something that may be crawling in the bed. And of course the fact that the bed felt like it was made of bricks. I have been all around the world and have spent many many nights in many different hotel/motels and have never felt the need to vent about any place i have stayed.. until now. The staff have horrible attitudes, no desire to be bothered with you. (maybe i should have texted him on his phone since that was what was keeping him entertained) The cleanliness.. absolutely horrible. The "dining area".. what a joke. 6 am in the morning and no fresh coffee? I was inforned by the "staff member" that it was just recently made at 3 am and it should still be ok..hmm really? So with all that said I would truly never stay or recommend this place to anyone that i liked or hated. Not sure if the health inspector would allow it to stay open if he had to stay in this place. Spend the extra few dollars and go into town. At least you know what you will be getting.
