Noise - couldn't sleep There was a wedding that was held the first day of our stay and the reception went into the evening with the music and noise levels being absolutely unbearable.
The wedding reception was right in the middle of the courtyard which made it impossible to enjoy any part of the grounds unless you were a member of the wedding party. The drinking and loud noise went on into the early hours of the morning. The people in the rooms next to ours didn't stop slamming doors and talking loudly until at least 2 in the morning.
NOISE - MATTRESS
The mattress was incredibly hard and probably hadn't been replaced since the time the Inn was built. I had never had the opportunity to visit a Bed and Breakfast and had always admired the beauty of the house and the grounds - I was very excited about visiting and love old buildings - unfortunatelyl this experience was a very negative one - as we were not informed that there was a wedding at the time we were staying so we could have made the decision not to stay there.
