Just got back from a 5 night stay at the Hilo Hawaiian and it was great! We had an ocean view room on the top floor and it was worth every penny. Quiet, relaxing and the view was spectacular. The staff was friendly, the pool was super clean and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Just one WARNING: don't leave the sliding (glass) door open for too long...we did, and our room had a lot of little gnats flying around the room. It was nightime, so they were attracted to the lights in the room.
