Lousy Customer Service

With my first visit to Eldorado I was excited as we walked into the Casino, we got checked in and the rooms were nice, but nothing to write home about. The beds were so hard that we didn't get much sleep. The Casino was beautiful and the Buffet was really good. After a tough nights sleep I was looking forward to taking a shower in the morning only to find out that the shower faucet was broken! No water for either a shower or bath! So cleaned up by the faucet in the sink, and when it came time to check out I told the lady about the faulty faucet. She never appoligized or gave a discount on the room. She just said, "I will have someone check on it.." Would you like the charges on your credit card? I said, isn't there anyway that you can give us a discount being we were unable to take a shower? We never used anything other than sleep on their sheets, and used 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels! But still had to pay full price! There wasn't any managers on duty, so couldn't talk to a manager either. When I got home I sat down and wrote the Casino and told them about what had happened, and to date have not recieved one email or letter. If you ask me this is very poor customer service! I have worked retail my whole life, and I know what it takes for Customer Service. I will not recommend this Hotel Casino to anyone. But there is one thing I have learned from this, from now on when I book a room I will check all faucets, and anything else that I may need to use during my stay the night before, so I will not have to pay such a high price for something I didn't have access too. I am not one of these people that expect something for nothing and I know these are tough times, but if they would have at least acknowleged my letter it would have been nice. I don't often get a chance to get away, and was very disappointed..My advice to you is this, go somewhere to where you trust that you will have awesome customer service, because we all like to enjoy what little free time we have to get away to relax and have a good time...
