We stayed in the lodge (hotel) portion
Pros: Very close to Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. Free continental breakfast at Cafe Tusayan was good.
Cons: The staff were unfriendly. They were rude and were unfriendly when answering our questions. Despite the hotel portion being built in the mid-'90s, the interior rooms were dirty and old-looking. There were ants in our room (on the first floor). Also, the side door lock was broken. Anyone without a key card could access the building. Unfortunately, I left something in the room after I checked out. I called to see if it was found and was put on hold for at least 5 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel. You definitely get what you pay for.
