STAY AWAY !!

This is been the worst RCI resort we have ever been too. The staff is incompetent and arrogant. You are being ripped off on every item : you have to pay 3 euros per day per person to use the pool and an additional 3 euros for a sunbed cuase you are not allowed to put towels on the ground.Or you buy a club card for 30 euros per week per person so you dont have to pay for the pool and a sunbed (mind you the pool is closed on saturday cause the intendant has to help at the check in desk ??? so your card only is good for 6 days) Furthermore you are obliged to wear a bathing cap in the pool so called for hygiene matters .. but the edges of the pool are so filthy it has not been cleaned in months.Cleaning of the appartements is a joke .. The air conditioning in our room did not work. After complaining about it they send a maintance guy speaking not a word of English who nodded his head and lifted his shoulders ... nothing could be done. The furniture is old and outdated, the kitchen is not worth calling a kitchen (but hey you have a fridge) There is absolutely nothing to do, the -fitness room- consists of some equiptement stalled in a tent standing in the burning sun, the -tennis field- is some concrete field with large holes in it. BTW tennis/fitness and pool are closed at 8pm. Please stay away from this rip off place. there are way better bed and breakfast places or hotels to be found in Assisi
