Hope you don't require sleep!
If you intend on getting any sleep this is not the place to do it. The property is right up along 89A. Which makes it easy to find, but the noise from the traffic and big trucks is continuous. My husband describes the mattress as being one step up from a park bench. We have a baby and called twice to asked very specific questions about crib accommodations months in advance. After we got there the manager informed us that the information we got was incorrect. He was more than willing to help us look for another hotel. The front desk called and found a room at another hotel, and led us on a wild goose chase. We loaded back into the car to head to that hotel to find out that there was no availability even though the Days Inn receptionist had called not 5 minuted before. This is Sedona don't expect to find anything last minute.
Lastly, one of the blankets had a huge brown stain on it. Trying to remain positive, and thinking "O.K. it's just a stain" I smelled it. It was absolutely horrid. When bringing this up to the manager he actually took issue with me. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
If you're going to travel to Sedona spend the extra money to be comfortable after a long day of hiking or tours. At least in a reputable hotel you will get some sleep. Sedona is a beautiful place, and I would love to go back. I will never skimp on the hotel again.
