Thanks for Timmy's Safe Return
We checked out and were about 4 hours away from the hotel when my youngest daughter realized that she had left her stuffed lamb (aka Timmy). With my daughter crying uncontrollably in the back seat, I phoned the hotel and explained the situation. I did not expect a favorable outcome, because normally if you leave an item in a hotel room, you have lost it.
About 15 minutes later, the hotel called me back. They had located Timmy on the floor under the bed. The lady (wish I could remember her name) said that she would take him to the post office and mail him home that day. Four days later, our mail carrier knocked on the door with a box containing Timmy.
I greatly appreciated the caring staffer that answered my phone call. I think you have to be a parent to understand that 20 dollar stuff animal can mean the world to small child. I commend this hotel for exceptional customer service.
