We absolutely loved the Palm Pavillion Inn. The service was outstanding and the people were remarkably professional and polite. From someone watching the parking lot to make sure that you always had a spot and even an umbrella to meet you at your car during a Florida downpour, we were blown away. The restaurant/bar was great too! Everyone was down-to-earth and very enjoyable to be around. We like to feel like "locals" when we're on vacation and they did just that!! Food was fantastic. We probably ate there 90% of the time. Beach access was great and not overcrowded like you tend to see in some of the southern portions of the area.
We checked the beaches at Sand Key Park and they were horrible. Nothing but shells. The beach in front of the Palm Pavillion was perfect! Need I say more?! We'll be back next year, and it will probably be for our honeymoon!!
