We stayed at the Brafferton for the second time and found it just as wonderful as our first visit. The breakfast was wonderful-food I would have never eaten at home with the kids.
This is the perfect place for parents just wishing to "hide" for a night or two. We stayed in the Michael Hoke Room and Loft Suite. Can't wait to try another.
Going off-season or during the week is great if you are looking for "low-key". You can walk to many restaurants from the Brafferton, which is a plus-you can both have the 2nd glass of wine!
The Hodges are fantastic. They are available if you need anything, but we truly felt as if the house was ours to move around.
