Perfect Setting, Wonderful Inn Keeper

The overall setting of the Witherspoon Inn was perfect. Porch with comfortable rocking chairs, shaded by a grand old tree. You can feel the history of the inn as soon as you pull into the drive. The inn keeper, Sandy, is your mother, your sister, your best friend all wrapped up into one person. A beautiful character, both inside and out, willing to share not only a bit of the Witherspoon's history - but a bit of her own as well. Local characters are brought to life in her versions of the stories... giving you a beautiful vision of Apalachicola. She sets you on the right path on the places to see and visit in the quaint town. And she bakes the most delicious baked goods and leaves them like an angel at your door for you to discover.
We would highly recommend a stay at the Withersoon Inn. We will definitely return to rock in the chairs on the grand old porch again very soon!
