My boyfriend and I stayed there on New Year's Eve and were very unhappy. We were returning to Chicago from a trip to New England and were looking forward to a quiet night in. When we arrived, we were ignored my the front desk agent for a while. He answered phones and delt with other guest who were aparently more important. He did not tell us how to get to our rooms and only gave us one key. When we got to our room we were satisfied with its clendliness and such, and we began to get ready to shower. The bellman opened our door and walked in with a bell cart and people behind him. Then informed us that we would need to go down and get a new key because ourws had now been deactivated. The rest of the night as pretty quiet, but then at 5AM r door burst open again and the bellman walked right in and asked us how our New Years was!!! Then when my Boyfriend was in the shower later that morning, someone tried to enter our romm again! When I complained at check out, the girl said that was strange and didnt have any interest in rectifying the situation....I work the front desk at a very nice hotel and believe me, this would never happen there!
