A sidewalk beachside coffee shop... oh, and a hotel.

This past weekend we needed to find a place to stay in Destin. Initial searches revealed that only the very bottom of the barrel... or the very top... were available on such short notice. Until I stumbled across the website for this adorable inn. The Beachside Inn is located on the corner of Scenic Hwy 98 and Hutchinson. It is across the street from the beach and right off the Mid-Bay Bridge. The location is excellent. The Inn boasts pet friendly rooms, a great restaurant and cafe, two swimming pools and a jacuzzi on a deck that looks out over the ocean. The rooms are clean and well cared for - each room has a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. The coffee shop/cafe offers a complimentary continental breakfast during your stay whihc includes bagels, croissants, fresh baked muffins, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our room was one of the "pet-friendly" rooms which meant that we had all tile floors. Each room has a ceiling fan and large television as well. It was a highly pleasant stay and we look forward to returning soon!
