Location: The location of the hotel is convenient. The hotel is in the center of the city near the Omonia metro station, but the neighborhood is looking strange (dirty streets, some people sleeping in the street, drunks hanging around ).
Rooms: The rooms were big, with AC and clean. Some parts of the equipment in the bathroom were missing. The remote control for the TV was broken. The refrigerator in one of our rooms was locked. There was no minibar at all.
Food: We spent 3 days there and the breakfast was always the same: 2 types salami, one type yellow cheese, eggs, yogurt, jam, butter and bread.
Parking: There are 2 places in the streets next the hotel. One daily parking and one 24 hours. Both are paid separately. If you arrive late in the evening there is a big NO PARKING warning. Just ignore it and enter the parking! You will pay in the morning. Do not park in the street. Although there is no sign that parking is forbidden, the police may charge you.
Service: Here is my sad story. I arrived late in the evening and saw the NO PARKING warning. I asked the receptionist in the hotel where to park and he showed me a place in the street. I followed his instructions and left my car there. In the morning I got a police ticket, because this place was a coffee shop during the day and the receptionist from the morning shift did not wake me up to remove my car. The receptionist even did not apologize. He told me that this was my problem, and he didnt care, and the manager of the hotel was not in Athens and so on. I had never been treated this way before!
