Not what you expect.
This maybe in a nice location but the view is obstructed by a grass hill on the beach. Plus the inn is for sale so all day people walk past the non-private patios looking in at the rooms. the patios are small and close together, the only thing seperating you from a neighbor is a waist high rail with bars. its also hot in the rooms because the fireplace gives off heat all day and there is no fan or ac in the rooms. there is a kitchen but no table in the room to eat on so you have to eat outside next to your neighbors. the hide-a-bed was broken as well. for the high season price of 180 a night its not worth the money at all! the owners dont care about service since there trying to sell it and there office closes at 5 with no number to reach them at. we couldnt stay for the second night because we were misrable. we ended up getting a full condo two building over at the sand and sea condominums for 195! i read reviews of edgewater before i went and gave it a chance but dont settle for the edgewater inn!
