We loved it!
We went two years in a row! We loved the treehouses. Loved the staff. Loved the grounds. The town is a bit far, but you can use the 'common' kitchen. We loved the breakfast in the main house. The zipline was fun. We did the horsebackriding and river rafting (both extra) which we would do again. It's definitely not fancy, but that's not what it's about. Great place for a family reunion or just a family vacation. Can be romantic, too, if you have the right mindset. Every night around the campfire with the rest of the guests and s'mores made our stay even more special.
This is not your ordinary 'resort' and this is not your 'schooled' hoteliers and concierges. But it's fun, the breakfast is yummy and the horses on the property whinnying in the night are romantic. It's kind of like camping/cabins/bed n breakfast all rolled into one. But you're not really camping.
When we went for my daughters 16th birthday, they were VERY accomodating in helping me surprise her with an amazing chocolate birthday cake that we shared around the campfire with the rest of the guests.
