Just back from a gambling junket to the Grand ... the hotel was lovely, clean, rooms big, staff very helpful. Nothing better than southern hospitality.
The casino itself was very, very smokey . . . although they do have one section for non smokers. The slots were TIGHT and the buffet's food decent .. most items not served very hot. The Grand Casino is very isolated, nothing close. Although the ground were well maintained and appeared to have plenty to do weather permitting . .
One good thing about Tunica, there is a Casino Shuttle bus that will take you to most casinos. Left the Grand, gambled at Horseshoe and Gold Strike ...might have just been the luck of the draw, but gaming at these two casinos was very impressive. I doubt I would gamble again at the Grand ...
