Best Ibis yet!
Location is next to a park over the lake, right in the center of town. The view from the cafe/breakfast room is a gorgeous panorama of trees, flowers, fountains, and Lake Geneva. Seems to be the nicest spot in town.
Hotel seems quite new and everything is in perfect shape and very clean. Rooms tight as always, but very efficient, with high quality bathroom fixtures, comfortable big bed, and fresh air via huge, swing-in window. Decent breakfast (all but eggs) and terrific coffees, tea, chocolate, etc. from automatic machine. Good A/C in cafe.
Two loading spots right in front of entrance door. Parking is 1/2 block away in city underground, right at the roundabout - get ticket from desk for small cost. Spiral staircase from parking level 1 pops you up in the center of the park next to a terrific, large fountain.
Hotel's wi-fi not strong (on top floor, anyway), so bring a USB extension cord and a USB wi-fi adapter to get a strong enough signal (string cord across room & dangle the adapter on end of cord near ceiling - "S" hooks are handy to have for this). Cost is 10 euros for one day's use (24 hours).
You will definitely like this Ibis!
