Poor service

The Wynn is an awesome stay, IF; - You are not expecting the concierge to excel concierge departments at other hotels - You have a lot of money (even if you find rates for around $130 a night, you'll end up more paying for services like the wireless internet) - You are above 30 years old (the Wynn is not built for youngsters). I cannot express how disappointed I was with the concierge staff. Having a bath tub, and having packages for romantic getaways and offering services for couples like a SPA, you could expect the Wynn to have "bubbles" for the bath tub available, or at best, the service attitude to get it for you. I called down to the concierge and explained that I really wanted bubbles for the bath tub. The concierge explained that they did not have it, and could not provide it either. They offered additional soap instead...But seriously, how hard could it be to get a hold of those bubbles? I am pretty sure they are existing within the facility, but going "the extra mile" doesn't seem to be the concierge staff's idea, even though the Wynn is a 5-star gold diamond hotel. The buffet is great! Being around $35, it is really paying off. Charging about $15 a night for the wireless internet is however not great. Even though many hotels seems to do the same, wireless internet does not incur such costs that the Wynn has to charge for it, but rather that's a great opportunity of income for the hotel. The staff is friendly and nice, but again, having the expectations on this hotel to be one of the best when it comes to service, is having too high expectations.
