This hotel is clean, and readily accessible from I-25 via the Center St exit. I stayed there 4 nights in May 2009 after paying in advance to get the 15% discount. I'll admit that the bipolarity of the reviews made me wonder what I was getting into, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The room had simple amenities with a great TV, free WiFi access to the Internet, and a comfortable bed with an abundance of pillows.
A block further east there is a nice restaurant that attracts the locals so it probably is above the local averages. I also dined at Eggingtons for breakfast, and really enjoyed it and the staff.
I rate this place as a good value, and was favorably impressed after reading the negative reviews.
