Very disappointed.

My husband and I picked Arundel Meadows Inn as a spot for our honeymoon in October of 2004 as it was depicted on line as a quaint, clean-looking farm house that offered what we thought was alot for our money - a nice, large room with a fireplace and a jacuzzi on site. However, when we arrived, the place was filthy and smelled terribly of smoke and carpet freshner. The rooms looked nothing like what we viewed on line.
On arrival, we noted the beautifully maintained inn depicted in the website isn't situated up off the road as it appears, but is actually very close to the road and run down. We waited a good five minutes for someone to come to the door to let us in. We were told that our room would have a romantic fireplace to use, but found that the fireplace was very close to the bed and no wood was offered.
Although the host was personable, the inn was a dissappointment to us and do not recommend it to others.
