No elevator - not for biz traveller

Stayed at the Windsor for one night with a TV crew - the location was great but for anybody lugging many cases this is the wrong choice. Not only is there no elevator but there are steps to go up even for rooms on the ground floor. And frankly some of the rooms are way too small. Additionally if you need internet or even extensive use of the telephone this is not your spot.
That being said, the staff is friendly, the location superb (near Dupont Circle, cafes, restos etc)and if you aren't traveling heavy and like a funky older feel it's a nice place.
