Was all we hoped it would be!

We set out for The Stanley as a healthful trip for my daughter. She's also a Stephen King fan so The Stanley was a great choice! We expected an old hotel with lots of history. We weren't disappointed! The rooms have the charm that we expected and the views and grounds were fabulous. The wildlife roaming all around was a nice suprise. The help we received from the staff was courteous and what I expected. It's a get-away in The Rockies, so it's not going to rival The Ritz in Paris..it's grand for what it needs to be.
