Affordable and Secluded
Although, I enjoy luxury hotels, this hotel wasn't bad for a standard hotel; it was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful with restaurants and things to do. The parking was very tight. We had to climb two level flight of stairs for our room, which wasn't that bad. There is elevators on the other side though. The room was very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable but, the plastic on the bed was annoying to hear every time you moved. I would have loved a bigger fridge, but we managed. It was plenty of room for us.
We had a view overlooking the pool and Cabana. There is food and drinks at the Pool Cabana. The pool was never crowded, only two families at the pool at all times. We enjoyed eating on the balcony and playing games outside. The table and chairs were very nice. No dining room inside. We ate every morning at the Banquet facility. Breakfast was only served. Not too far to walk but, on the premises.
You do have to walk a distance to the beach though. Not a problem for us. Nice having the Sand Bar on the beach. The beach is just beautiful, and relaxing. Pleasant watching the ships cruise by. Best part of the stay is that it is not crowded and private. There are lots of crab on the beach, more at night than the day. You have to walk a small distance to the bathroom. Forgot, there is also a bathroom at the back of the banquet facility to use. I must say that it was the most relaxing vacation I've been on. You have to go visit the Light house. You can see the dolphins from the top of the lighthouse. A spectacular view. I'm going back again. We went to Bush Gardens and the Aquarium. There is lots to do and great restaurants.
