Our stay in the Stampeder Inn in Ponoka was far from enjoyable. The facility itself was very nice and has good potential. Our biggest complaint was that the sheets on one of the beds had obviously been slept in and the manager refused to change them saying that she herself had taken the dirty sheets off the bed. When we asked for clean sheets she refused. We ended up sleeping on top of the bed because no one wants to sleep on dirty sheets. The manager was also very rude to us about this problem. Also the charge was more than we had been quoted when we made the reservations. We would not stay there again.
