Great stay at Uncle Billy's

First of all we had a better than expected stay at Uncle Billy's Hilo Bay Resort. There were many negative reviews out there, thought set the record straight. There were no problems with our room everything functioned perfectly. Everything looked old but it was well kept. We would get daily maid service with fresh towels and cleaning of the room. This is definetly value for money. Without wasting so much money on your room you are better off spending them on sightseeing trips. The only problem was that there is no nice beach next to the hotel just a bunch of rocks so swimming can be hard. The restaurent was fun with the daily Houla shows but the food was not the best. Not much of variety and expensive. So it would be better to eat out at different places.
Overall I would say our stay was just great and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
