Hotel Lana`i is centered in Lana`i City, near the edge of Dole Park and the center of this small town. If you want to have breakfast with the locals at Blue Ginger Cafe, walk along Dole Park, have a drink on your patio and watch the sunset, this is the place for you. In short, Hotel Lana`i is relaxed, friendly, and local.
While Hotel Lana`i features a very fine restaurant, it is not like the other two major hotels on the island in many other ways. The other hotels on the island are upscale resorts. Hotel Lana`i has no swimming pools, no golf, no horseback riding. Instead, Hotel Lana'i is more like staying at a comfortable old friend's house. We love it!
