Unexpected excellence at Powell Place

We traded our London England timeshare for a week at Powell Place. The location was excellent for touring San Fran. The desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The flat was comfortable and quiet. The only drawback for me was the view, which was of the airshaft, so the place was sort of dark at times, but we got plenty of great views while touring the city. It's close to video rental, drugstores, trolley, the fabulous Grace Cathedral, Chinatown, bus lines, walking distance to great ethnic groceries and wine stores. No complaints there. I can't imagine why people think that when capacity guidelines are stated, that they don't mean anything. We had no problems with the four of us because we were in a room of proper size for us. It's not a Holiday Inn where you can cram in extra people, it's an upscale flat. If you want a quality experience, it behooves people to talk to the staff before they arrive and iron out the issues in advance.
