Rustic, peaceful, just didn't last long enough!
As big as it is, it does not seem overwhelmingly populated or noisy. No construction going on while we were there, tho' a great deal of new happenings in planning stages. Every one we did bump into, were cheery and social. My American Eskimo dog was a hit with some of the children and older visitors. Made a good time for him, too. Spoiled boy that he is, attention is like a carrott to him.
We up-graded our timeshare and will be spending more time there. Beautiful at leaf-peeping season and I am looking forward to a concert at Tanglewood and another afternoon w/Norman Rockwell's gift's of art in museum within 20 minutes of Oak'n'Spruce.
We have found several restaurant we enjoy: Salmon Run, Michael's, Arizona Tea, great Greek soup! Even a charming little Breakfast-Lunch place "Jill's Country Kitchen" (Homemade)and cheery greetings.
The employees on Welcome desk are very helpful with directions to the nearby eateries and sightseeing adventures.
Worth the trip from Taunton; R&R for the soul.
