wonderful accomodation at a resonable price!

The property has loads of period charm and views to die for. We got a last minute deal as we live near Edinburgh but wanted to stay in the city centre for the evening and were very happy indeed with the room and the staff. Our room was HUGE!
Melvin House is located in the city centre right between "The Bonham" and "The Edinburgh Residences" just a few minutes walk from Princes street which are top hotels in Edinburgh.
We asked why the Melvin House was only 3 stars when these other adjacent hotels had higher ratings and they said it was because they didn't offer food... I'll forgo the food to get a 5 star room in a 5 star property at a more reasonable rate...no prob!
