Terrible...

Ok, let's not kid ourselves. Unless you are a cheap-low life that doesn't care where you lay your head down. This place is a complete dump! A dump; you hear me? I made reservations a month in advance... The "receptionist" made it seem like there was only one room available during the dates I was traveling. So, I booked it... I made it into Niagara at midnight, tired and ready to hit the sack. Boy, what a surprise. I told the wife to wait in the car and I would check us in. What found that the place was deserted. It smelled life urine and cigarettes. Like the other reviewers, the elevator was not working. The bellboy was something out of a Five fingers of Death karate movie. Japanese dude with one tooth in his 90s.. I went upstairs first to see the room. It was small, smelled like an odor I can not mention on this website and there was contraction workers drilling on the same floor where this particular room was located. The view was assume, but the room was horrible! I wouldn't leave my worst enemy in that room. I noticed that the entire building was vacant also. I don't know what kind of laws they have in Canada about hazards, But in New York City we have build codes. And brother, this place sure wrote the book on how to break them. I returned to that one tooth dude, asked for a credit on my debit and canceled my reservations immediately. I took my wife and my chances and went across the street to the Sheraton and was accommodated at the last minute but at a 5 star hotel. It was worth it... I was comfortable and so was the Mrs. The Minolta hotel is nothing but a big scam and a dump. If you was to take pictures from upstairs, it's fine. But don't put you back on the walls, the bugs might take advantage of you.
