We were one or two rooms away from the perfect view of the falls, but given the shape of the hotel, half of our room faced the next hotel, so we usually had the curtains half open or fully closed. Given that we booked a really expensive Fallsview room for our honeymoon, we were disappointed.
The location is great, but the staff seemed a bit cranky. The view from the restaurant was good, but I'd recommend bringing a beer to the observation floor and relaxing whether you're staying at the hotel or not (careful, this is probably not legal). You'll at least save a few hundred staying at another hotel to bail yourselves out of jail.
Other than that, the breakfast was poor and our phone never worked, but The Falls & Niagara-on-the-lake made up for it.
