Just got in from Sorrento

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at The Michelangelo Hotel. It really is a nice hotel with large enterance and very friendly staff. The only thing we found anoying was the service lift each morning at first we could not work out what the noise was but as our room backed onto it we could not help but hear the lift in the mornings. Breakfast was being served so I suppose the noise did wake us up in time for for it. If you asked for help from the staff the answer was always 'Sure no problem'. I would recommend this hotel the rooms were cleaned each day with fresh hand and bath towels. The air conditioning worked and made sleeping far more comfortable. Behind the hotel was the train station but as the trains did not run through the night we hardly heard them at all just on occasions during the day when the tanoy called out arrival times etc. We were near the shops and a stroll into the main plazza helped walked off the 3 course evening meal really nice food and lovely puddings. We found the pool nice small but freezing as it did not get the sun on it to warm it up only the brave went into it and they were mostly womenwho took ages to put there shoulders under the water. Lovely place to stay
