Ah, the Coach House....
My first Halloween visit to Salem, years ago, was at the Coach House. Its a cozy Victorian home converted into a B&B. Very nice rooms, continental breakfast delivered to your door in a basket. I actually want to live there.
My ONLY complaint is that it is a 10-15 minte walk to town. It's situated in a college residential area. If you don't rent a car or bicycle, you have a long walk every day to and from...so DON'T forget anything in your room or you'll have to hoof it ALL the way back. Its a nice walk to town down a street lined with amazing examples of Victorian and Colonial architecture, but at the end of the day when you're tired and can't get a cab( and good luck trying to get a cab in Salem ), its such a long walk.....and I'm a dancer, in shape, and active.
I miss the Coach House. I'd stay there again if it wasn't such a walk.
