Simple, affordable lodging in Vail

I spent a night at the Roost Lodge at the end of the ski season and all in all. I had a good experience there. The room was clean and comfortable, the location is four miles from Vail Village with a town bus stop nearby, and the staff were very professional.
The only drawbacks were that HWY 70 is 100 ft from the hotel and the floors make a bit of noise when the people on the second floor move around.
For a simple place to crash, the Roost Lodge is a good deal.
