Great staff, rooms left much to be desired!

As many before me have stated, the staff could not have been more accommodating. The front desk staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. But, for God's sake can management/ownership please give these poor people something to work with! The room itself smelled overwhelmingly like stale sweat and urine. One of the extra pillows we were given had a blood stain on it, the sheets were dingy and one of the washcloths had a long black hair folded into it (not one of ours!). Overall, the room was surface clean but there is a deep layer of grime that no amount of scrubbing can ever get rid of. The bathroom floor was sticky, the hair dryer was sticky and there may have been blood smears on the bathroom door. This Inn is in DESPERATE NEED of renovation or I can't see them lasting another 5 years. For God's sake, spend the money or sell it to someone who will! I would hate to see those good people lose their jobs.
