Wonderful Time at a Wonderful Place on Fall River Road
My wife and I stayed at one of Trail's West's new suites in January 2007 and we could not have been happier with our experience. Our suite overlooked a small bridge over Fall River that led to a trail in the pine woods. Our suite was well furnished with a fire place and hot tub. We really didn't mind there was a large snowstorm one of the days, as we enjoyed watching the woods fill up with snow from the comfort of the hot tub. And since it was in the middle of winter, the rates were greatly reduced and Rocky Mountain National Park, just five or six minutes away, was much less crowded than summer time. We enjoyed snow shoeing in RMNP, went skiing at Eldora (about an hours drive south of Estes Park) and enjoyed shopping and dining in and around town. Trails West is run by a couple who are very friendly, especially the wife. Overall, we had a wonderful time at a wonderful place, we look forward to coming back again.
