I have stayed in this hotel twice (a guest of Microsoft) and I was blown away both times, especially the second time when I was on a high floor and had a spectacular view of Elliott Bay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and by far the most luxurious I have ever stayed in -- ok, I would never be able to afford this place for more than a day or two on my own, but still!
The lobby and amenities are great also, and the hotel is right in the middle of all the activity of downtown Seattle. Pike Place Market is a few blocks away, as are many other shopping centers and stores, and the monorail at adjacent Pacific Place will take you to Seattle Center (think Space Needle, museums, etc.). I wish I could stay at this hotel every time I visited Seattle!
(Note: I only rated "value" at 4 because I didn't pay for the room and I really have very little experience with hotels of this caliber to compare to.)
