I feared for my life.
My father booked this hotel for a recent trip to Dallas. The first sign of a problem was the getto fabulous staff, there were two security guards watching television and a woman behind the counter dressed in a jogging suit. They all acted as if they were put out that we needed to check in. This remained the pattern for employees throughout our stay.
While waiting 15 minutes for their antiquated computer system to work, we observed several thug type guests come in and out of the hotel. I also witnessed prostitutes soliciting work right outside of the front door! The next day there was a shirtless drunk falling all over the parking lot.
We proceeded down through the dirty elevators and halls only to find that our room key did not work! While waiting at the room with our luggage for the correct key, I feared being robbed. I found myself wondering if the stains on the carpet and walls were blood.
The room was half way clean and we felt safer as long as we were locked inside.
If you can tolerate thugs, drunks, prostitutes and inadequite service, this hotel is a good deal. We will never stay there again.
