Convenient, seedy, inconvenient
Convenient but unattractive location is within walking distance to groceries, restaurants, bowling alley, lots of nail salons.
One well-behaved pet is allowed.
As the cheapest hotel in town, there is a contingent of uncouth, foul-mouthed guests who may stand outside your window and carry on, or rev their engines in the parking lot, also right outside your window.
Our non-smoking room apparently had a history of smoking. The inverted ashtray labeled with a "smoking prohibited" sticker was a nice touch.
Kids like the pool.
There is something going on with the keycards. Our keycard failed over and over again, and we had to go to the office to have it recoded. The lobby was crowded with people recoding their keycards. The hotel had no explanation, and moreover, never did anything to confirm our identity before recoding the cards. The would have coded our card for any room we asked! Maybe we just look super wholesome and honest. We though maybe they are having a security problem there so automatically set the cards to expire every few hours? This was the most bizarre and annoying thing about the motel.
I guess I'd stay there again because it was cheap.
