Everyone at the hotel front desk is very polite and refreshing. The room service is exceptional, too. However, my stay at the Inn was a disappointment. If you stay here, make sure you request a room with a good view of the ocean, ask for a breakdown of charges and be really careful not to leave anything expensive behind. You won't get it back. If they would have done more to alleviate my complaints, I would have been able to give the Inn a better rating. Instead, I am left with a very bad taste despite an otherwise wonderful experience in Monterey. If I could do it over again I would pay a little bit more money and stay at the hotel next door. That hotel is SO LUXURIOUS and really not that much more expensive. I feel like I just flushed my money down the drain.
