Would go back again and again

We spent 8 nights at FDR Pebbles and had a wonderful time. The service is a bit slow, but everyone was helpful at all times and friendly too. The nanny service was outstanding and we had Tisha who made our stay perfect. Our kids were 6 and 12 and both found interesting things to do the whole week, which gave my husband and me great relaxation time. We dined alone a few nights and the kids thought they were so "cool" because they dined alone also. We could not have asked for a better time. The rooms were a bit dark and rustic, but for the amount of time we spent in them it didn't matter. The resort is small enough that is was personal and we all felt very safe. The staff knew each family and everyone watched out for each other's kids. We had no fears letting our son (6 yrs old) go get himself a snack at the buffet or letting our daughter (age 12) walk home from the teen disco at midnight. The security was there and the employees were always accommodating. We will definitely return again. If you are looking for luxury and fine dining this is probably not the place for you. The food was good, and the Italian restaurant was superb. The buffet food was always hot and well stocked. breakfasts were great. There was a poolside snack bar with burgers, dogs and kids fare (pb&j, blt). The nightlife is what you make of it. This is a small place so it was rather quiet after each evening show, but well enjoyed.
