Noisy, Not Worth The Money
My husband and I were initially impressed with this quaint little hotel, located conveniently near the river and the historic district. When we settled in for the night, however, we could hear everything from the room next to ours. They were laughing and shouting, and it was as if the wall wasn't even there. We tried to fall asleep, but couldn't, so I called the front desk. They didn't offer a refund, but said we could pack up our stuff and move to another room.
The new room was quieter, and we were upgraded a larger bathtub, but in the morning, we could hear everything in the lobby. In total, I may have gotten three hours of peaceful sleep that night for around $130.
If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you bring a white noise machine. Even then, your sleep quality depends on the people sharing a wall with you.
