Very rude reception!
Stayed there from 3rd to 6th April, wanted to celebrate my father's birthday in Singapore, so decided to booked this hotel - the rooms were clean and the location is convenient. Everything seems to be perfect until an unpleasant experience at the reception. The staff - Shanti, was rude - my mother asked her for the exchange rates but instead a calculator was shoved in the face, telling her to calculate it herself. As if that wasn't enough, the staff insulted her by saying "if you want a cheaper rate, go to Chinatown!" This kind of attitude is unnecessary and rude, the staff shouldn't be working at the reception. If this is the of hospitality Amara hotel gives, it's a matter of time it'll lose its business.
