Best Secluded White Sand Beach
Very out of the way beach. Must either be a guest at the famed Mauna Kea Hotel, or vie for one of the 20 free public parking spots. One of the cleanest and family friendly beaches on a island not really known for beaches, but lava runs. Because this beach is on the property of an upscale resort, it has well manicured landscaping, great shower and bathrooms facilities. The only drawback is you must bring your own drinks and snacks because there is no concession stand, and only hotel guests can order from the attendants.
The water is crystal clear, with gentle rolling waves, prefect for swimming, floating, and snorkling.
A place you really want to come back to.
